Success and EqualityWashington State Association of the DeafAndIdaho Association of the Deafwill host a joint state conferenceJune 17-20, 1999Doubletree Valley HotelSpokane, WashingtonCome and join us for fun, social and pleasure. This will be WSAD 44th biennial conference and IAD's 33rd biennial conference. This is the first joint-conference between two state associations. There will be other organization such as WSADIC holding their business meeting as well. Surrounding attraction, downtown Spokane included Riverfront Park, site of the 1974 World's Fair and shopping at the Downtown skywalks. The famous Duncan Garden located at Manito Park are a must for any visitors to Spokane. Mt. Spokane, wineries and a Factory Outlet Mall are also nearby. Just merely thirty minutes away,lies Couer d'Alene Lake where cruises can be taken to tour the lake. Across the freeway from the Hotel, the new Spokane Mall feature 3 major stores and over 118 retail shops. WSAD and IAD are state-wide advocacy organization of the Deaf. The Biennial Conference allow members the opportunity to develop their agenda for the following 2-year period.
