There is only 2 weeks left for Washington’s high school seniors who are deaf, deafblind, hard of hearing, and have speech difficulties to apply for Hamilton Relay’s $500 Scholarship! Please encourage high school seniors to turn in their applications for this scholarship opportunity. The deadline is March 1, 2017.
As the Telecommunications Relay and Captioned Telephone service provider for the state of Washington, Hamilton Relay acknowledges that opportunities for higher education affect the future of Washington’s high school students.
We are pleased to once again extend the Hamilton Relay Scholarship opportunity to graduating high school seniors in Washington who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or have difficulty speaking to assist in their goals of continuing their education.
We would appreciate your assistance in sharing the scholarship application and information with eligible students. Hamilton Relay selects one candidate from each of the states where Hamilton is the contracted service provider. All candidates are required to submit an application, write an essay under the topic of communication technology and provide a letter of recommendation in order to qualify. The application documents can also be found online at http://www.hamiltonrelay.com/corporate/whats_new/index.html?topic=details&ni=593.
The scholarship deadline is March 1, 2017 and applications must be received or postmarked by this date. The scholarship is in the amount of $500 and the winner will be determined on or before April 28, 2017.
